Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s Alleged Killer Goldy Brar Reportedly Shot Dead in US

Goldy Brar, a key suspect in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, was reportedly shot dead in the United States on Tuesday evening, according to a News 18 report.

Local American news channels claim the incident occurred around 5:25 PM in Fairmont and Holt Avenue. Unidentified assailants reportedly opened fire on Brar, who was standing outside his residence with a companion, before fleeing the scene. Two individuals were hospitalized, with one later succumbing to their injuries.

Gangsters Arsh Dalla and Lakbhir, rivals of Brar, have claimed responsibility for the attack, citing enmity as the motive. However, there has been no confirmation from Lawrence Bishnoi or other gangsters regarding these claims.

Born in Muktsar Sahib, Punjab in 1994, Brar came from a family with a law enforcement background. Despite his family’s desire for him to pursue education, Brar chose a different path. A graduate with the alias Satwinderjit Singh, he reportedly lived in Canada and operated remotely, particularly in Punjab.

In year 2020, Brar’s cousin Gurlal Brar was murdered outside a nightclub in Chandigarh. Gurlal, a close associate of Bishnoi, was allegedly targeted by Bishnoi’s gang in retaliation for the killing of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pahalwan. Reports suggest Brar fled to Canada in 2021 following these incidents, having initially arrived there on a student visa in 2017.
