Threatening Email Puts Over 100 NCR Schools on High Alert

New Delhi: More than 100 schools in NCR, including the capital Delhi and Noida, have received an email threatening to blow up. These schools include DPS, Mother Mary and Amity. It is being told that the email came in the morning. The school authorities immediately informed the police. Fire brigade, police and ambulance tams have rushed to the spot.
Police immediately cordoned off the entire campus and launched a search operation. At the same time, the school management sent a message to the parents and requested them to take the children home. Following this, there was a commotion among the devotees. They went to school to bring their children home.

Delhi Public School (DPS) in Dwarka, Mother Mary School in east Delhi’s Mayur Vihar, Sanskriti School and Amity School in Pushp Vihar have also received email threats. St Thomas School in Chhawla, GD Goenka School in Sarita Vihar, Evergreen Public School in Baba Haridas Nagar and Sachdeva Global School in Dwarka have also received threats. Apart from Delhi, the Delhi Public School in Noida has also received the threat email. Apart from these schools, many schools in Delhi NCR have also been threatened.

According to the police, bomb threats have been received in many schools of Delhi. In the initial investigation, it seems that the email has been sent to many places since yesterday. And it looks like the same pattern. This email does not have a date line. The same email has been sent to multiple locations.

“We received information that the same email was sent to several schools around 4:15 am,” “said Rohit Meena, DCP South West.” We took action and decided to close the schools. The students were sent home. The investigation is going on in all the schools and our technical branch is examining the email, it seems that it is a mass email.
