Viral Video Shows Shocking Abuse of Mother-in-Law in Ballabhgarh

A video showing a mother-in-law being abused and assaulted by her daughter-in-law in Rishi Nagar, Chawla Colony of Ballabhgarh has gone viral. After viewing the video, Renu Bhatia, chairperson of the Haryana State Women Commission, took cognizance and visited the victim’s house.

In response, she ordered the police to register a case and conduct an inquiry. Additionally, Chairperson Renu Bhatia suggested that the principal of the school where the daughter-in-law is employed as a teacher should be asked to dismiss her from the job.

“In the video, it is clearly visible that the elderly woman had switched off the light in the drawing room,” stated Renu Bhatia. The daughter-in-law, in a fit of anger, abused her mother-in-law and locked her in a room. She then returned to her own room and continued the assault on the bed. This incident is very unfortunate, especially since the elderly often turn off lights to save electricity. Such behavior could have been addressed with love, but the woman crossed all limits.

Renu Bhatia emphasized that this behavior is a warning sign for elderly couples, highlighting the importance of preventing such situations. She directed the police to thoroughly investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
