Mumbai Police Nab Shooters in Salman Khan Firing Incident

Mumbai Police have arrested two men, Vicky Sahab Gupta (24) and Sagar Srijogendra Pal (21), in connection with the Sunday morning shooting incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan‘s Bandra residence. The arrests were made late last night in West Champaran district of Bihar.

The duo allegedly fired multiple rounds at Khan’s house, fortunately causing no injuries. The incident sent shockwaves through the film industry, raising concerns about Khan’s security despite his Y-plus category security cover.

Following the incident, the Mumbai Crime Branch launched a manhunt to locate the perpetrators. Utilizing technical surveillance, they were able to track the accused to their hideout in West Champaran. With the help of local Bihar police, a swift operation led to their apprehension.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, though a social media posts purportedly from a gangster group claimed responsibility shortly after the incident. The Mumbai Police are currently interrogating the arrested men to determine the motive behind the attack and whether they were acting alone or part of a larger conspiracy. The investigation is ongoing.
