Haryana CM and Former CM File Nominations after Road Show
Today in Karnal, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal filed their nominations following a lively road show. Earlier, they convened for a meeting before proceeding to the nomination venue amidst a large crowd from the road show. CM Saini’s wife, Suman Saini, submitted her nomination as the covering candidate.
Sanjay Bhatia, the incumbent MP from Karnal, is standing as the covering candidate for Manohar Lal Khattar. Notable figures present included MP Sanjay Bhatia, Ministers Mahipal Dhanda and Subhash Sudha, MLA Surendra Nagar, Harvinder Kalyan, Ramkumar Kashyap, Pramod Vij, and others.
After filing his by-election nomination papers, Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini expressed that the people of Haryana are eager to see Narendra Modi re-elected as Prime Minister for the third term, and today Manohar Lal filed his Lok Sabha Elections nomination from Karnal.
Following the nomination, CM Naib Saini remarked that the Bharatiya Janata Party is poised to secure a resounding victory in the Karnal assembly seat, ensuring 10 lotuses for Narendra Modi, one of which will come from Chandigarh. “The people are supportive,” he added.
Former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar was also in attendance. Speaking to the media, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and affection from the public, indicating a likely clean sweep by the Bharatiya Janata Party across all Lok Sabha seats in Haryana. He emphasized that under Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP will secure a record-breaking win in Karnal.
