Haryana Cabinet Gets Bigger: Seven New Ministers Inducted, Boost for Regional Representation

Chandigarh: Haryana government led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini underwent a significant expansion on Tuesday. Seven new ministers were sworn in by Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, bolstering the state cabinet.

This expansion comes after the initial swearing-in ceremony of CM Saini and five other ministers last week. Sources suggest the inclusion of these seven new members aims to strengthen regional representation within the cabinet.

The newly inducted ministers include:

·         Seema Trikha (Badkhal MLA)

·         Mahipal Dhanda (Panipat Rural MLA)

·         Aseem Goel (Ambala City MLA)

·         Abhe Singh Yadav (Nangal Chaudhary MLA)

·         Subhash Sudha (Thanesar MLA)

·         Bishamber Singh Balmiki (Bawani Khera MLA)

·         Sanjay Singh (Sohna MLA)

With this expansion, the Haryana cabinet reaches a total of 13 members, approaching the maximum permissible strength of 14 (including the Chief Minister). This move is expected to bring a wider range of perspectives and voices to the decision-making table within the state government.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed confidence in the newly appointed ministers, emphasizing their roles in advancing the state’s development agenda and serving the interests of all sections of society. He reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and equitable representation, ensuring that every region of Haryana receives due attention and support.
