Every person should plant a sapling dedicating it to his mother: MLA Rajesh Nagar
Faridabad: Rajesh Nagar, MLA from Tigaon assembly constituency, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a campaign in the name of ‘Ek Vriksh Maa Ke Naam’ across the country. With the inspiration of the Prime Minister, about one lakh saplings will be planted under this campaign in the state of Haryana. He said that the citizens who plant this tree will not only remember the memory of their mother, but it will also be a unique service to Mother Earth. In today’s time, due to increasing modernization and industrialization, protecting the environment has become a serious problem. Therefore, keeping in mind the seriousness of the adverse effects of climate change, it is very important to encourage people to get personally involved and plant more and more trees.
MLA Rajesh Nagar was the chief guest at the massive tree plantation programme organised under the ‘Ek Vriksh Maa Ke Naam’ campaign at the premises of Mata Amritanandamayi Hospital in Faridabad. He said that about 5200 saplings have been planted in this program organized under the MoU between Amrita Hospital and Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority. Under the MoU, Amrita Hospital will develop and maintain the road from Mata Amritanandamayi Marg to Amolik Chowk.
In addition, development and maintenance work of Chandila Chowk and Man Sanskriti School Chowk at Tigaon will also be carried out by Rotary Club Faridabad for one year in the next three months. He said that there is no toilet in Tigaon Market due to which women coming to the market face problems, so Rotary Clubs and Inner Wheel Clubs will work together to build toilets as well as develop chowks.
On behalf of Inner Wheel District 301, national editor Anita Jain and president of Industrial Town Pooja Jain welcomed the gathering. On this occasion District Immunization Officer Dr Asha Mangat, Senior Medical Officer Tara Singh, Dr Kanwaljeet Kaur, Dr Sandeep Bhola, Dr Sukhwinder Kaur, Amandeep Singh and others were present.
