Weeks after announcing her shocking split, Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum launched a new perfume named ‘Divorce.’ The daughter of the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikha Mahra has caused a stir with this release, as many see it as a direct reference to her recent separation. The fragrance, launched under her brand Mahra M1, has sparked widespread debate.

In a social media post, the 30-year-old princess teased the perfume, showing a black bottle engraved with the word ‘Divorce.’ Another promotional video focused on the theme of separation, featuring images of broken glass and a black panther.

One user commented, “When women are done dealing with you, they are done.” Another added, “Do you see how Mahra is moving? Very demure, very quietly, very princess-like. She’s not throwing tantrums or making videos online. She’s classy, reserved, and handling her business.” Another wrote, “So creative! Your ex must be burning in pain, lol.”

Mahra made headlines when she publicly divorced her husband on Instagram, using the Islamic practice of triple talaq. The decision to announce the divorce on social media, especially shortly after the birth of their child, drew global attention.

In her post, she addressed her husband, saying, “Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”
