New Delhi: The Additional Commissioner of Police and Additional DCP from the Delhi Police Special Cell visited Swati Maliwal‘s residence in North Delhi to record her statement regarding the alleged misbehavior by AAP MP Swati Maliwal. Following a four-hour interaction, the officers concluded their visit. Concurrently, the National Commission for Women (NCW) issued a notice to Bibhav Kumar, summoning him to appear at 11 AM the next day. Bibhav Kumar stands accused of misbehavior with Swati Maliwal at the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence.

In a separate development, Bibhav Kumar, the personal assistant implicated in the incident, was sighted alongside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at Lucknow Airport. A widely circulated photograph depicting Arvind Kejriwal and Bibhav Kumar sparked online discussions. This image emerged two days after AAP leader Sanjay Singh acknowledged the misbehavior incident involving Bibhav Kumar and Swati Maliwal. Arvind Kejriwal remarked, “Action will be taken against them.”

Allegations claim that Kejriwal’s personal assistant assaulted the former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women at the chief minister’s residence. Initially quiet on the matter, the administration later responded. Senior party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh confirmed that the CM had taken serious note of the incident and promised stringent action.

During a press briefing on Tuesday, Singh detailed the prior day’s events, asserting that Swati Maliwal had suffered abuse by Bibhav Kumar at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Delhi Police were promptly informed, with Singh condemning the incident as disgraceful. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed regret and directed strict measures against the accused.
