Brother of Congress Leader Shot Dead in Faridabad
Kunal Bhadana, the 32-year-old younger brother of Congress leader Jyotindra Bhadana, also known as Rinku Bhadana, was tragically shot dead by assailants at Masjid Chowk late at night. Kunal, who lived in Nawada Koh village, was attacked by multiple individuals, two of whom have been identified.
The Dabua police swiftly registered a case under various sections, including murder, following a complaint from Rinku Bhadana. In response, three police teams have been formed to track down the accused. The car used by the attackers and the pistol used in the shooting have both been recovered, with the pistol being confirmed as licensed. The police have detained two individuals for questioning as part of their ongoing investigation into the incident.
According to Rinku Bhadana’s complaint, her brother Kunal had been married for two years and was the father of a one-year-old son. On the night of the attack, Kunal was standing at Masjid Chowk with his friend Inder at around 11:15 PM. Kunal received a call from his friend informing him that Vijay, Billu, and others from Sector 48 were arguing with him. Rinku immediately rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, he witnessed Billu holding Kunal’s hand while Vijay shot Kunal in the chest.
As soon as he heard the gunshot, Rinku rushed to help his brother, but the attackers fled in their car. Kunal was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Rinku revealed that Kunal had an ongoing feud with Vijay and Billu, which he believes led to the attack.
The assailants, reportedly from Kot village, fled the area following the shooting. The car used in the attack has been seized, and it is believed that the attackers have fled to Gurugram. The police, along with Crime Branch teams from DLF, Sector-30, and Sector-48, are actively searching for the suspects. ACP NIT Vishnu Prasad has assured that the accused will be apprehended soon.
