BJP’s Kiran Choudhry Elected Unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Haryana

BJP’s Kiran Choudhry elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Haryana on Tuesday, he was given the certificate of being elected unopposed from the Rajya Sabha seat by Returning Officer Saket Kumar. Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini was also present on the occasion. The BJP had announced him as its candidate on August 20. On August 21, he filed his nomination in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Saini.
No candidate from other opposition parties, including the Congress, was fielded, paving the way for Chaudhary to go to the Rajya Sabha unopposed. The result was pre-decided. On Tuesday, the Returning Officer gave him the certificate of election to the Rajya Sabha and officially confirmed it.

Earlier, 20 years ago, Kiran Chaudhary had also entered the election fray as a Rajya Sabha MP candidate, but due to the majority of OP Chautala, she could not become a Rajya Sabha MP. Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said, “I congratulate Kiran Chaudhary for winning the Rajya Sabha elections unopposed. He also attacked the opposition parties.

The Chief Minister said the Congress had been consistently propagating that the government in Haryana was in minority. I kept saying that I had won the trust vote on March 13 in front of the entire opposition. After such lies by the opposition, they have seen the mirror as a one-sided victory of Kiran Chaudhary. This is a big victory for the BJP.
CM Saini said that the Congress leaders were making such a propaganda that the BJP government was in a minority and they could not even fill the form for this election. The Congress could not muster the courage to fill the form. The Congress has given up. The Congress lost. Because they knew that BJP has all the math and BJP will win the election.
