Bidding Bonanza: Fancy Faridabad Numbers Fetch Fancy Prices!
Faridabad: Car enthusiasts in Faridabad revved their engines (metaphorically) this Tuesday as the bidding process opened for the new vehicle registration series, HR 51 CP. The event turned into a competition for vanity plates, with some numbers fetching sky-high prices!
The coveted top prize went to HR 51 CP 9000, which received a whopping bid of Rs 1.15 lakh. Not far behind was HR 51 CP 1111, which sold for a cool Rs 1.10 lakh. Clearly, these bidders value a touch of elegance on their license plates!
The bidding frenzy didn’t stop there. HR 51 CP 1000 attracted a bid of Rs 1 lakh, while HR 51 CP 1717 went for Rs 80,000. It seems there’s a strong market for those who appreciate classic digit combinations.
The competitive spirit extended beyond these numbers, with numerous applications flooding in for triple and double-digit plates. The event underscored the high demand for unique vehicle identifiers and the lengths to which Faridabad’s residents would go to personalize their rides. It was a day of fervor and fierce bidding, adding a touch of excitement to the city’s vehicle registration process.
