Miscreants Set Fire to Devasena Office in Faridabad, Youth President Assaulted; Police Sub-Inspector Suspended
Faridabad: In Faridabad, miscreants set fire to the office of Dev sena and assaulted its youth president Gulshan Bajrangi. Saran police sub-inspector Surendra Singh has been suspended for negligence in duty. Orders have also been issued to the police commissioner in this regard. They are also accused of assaulting the complainant.
Brij Bhushan Saini, national president of Dev Sena, said that the office of Dev Sena is in Old Press Colony. On March 25, Devasena youth president Gulshan Bajrangi had reached the spot after getting information about the fire. He found that the miscreants not only set his office on fire but also ransacked the office. He lodged a complaint with the Saran police station.
Dev sena’s youth president Gulshan Bajrangi was beaten up by sub-inspector Surendra, who was on duty. Instead, he called the DLF Crime Branch and handed him over to them. The Crime Branch went to the DLF Crime Branch with Gulshan Bajrangi and there too Gulshan Bajrangi was beaten up. After this, the activists of Dev sena reached the DLF Crime Branch with them. There, at 11 pm last night, youth president Gulshan Bajrangi was released.
He met Faridabad Police Commissioner Rakesh Arya with a complaint about the police and Crime Branch DLF manhandling to set fire to the office of Dev Sena. He sent Bajrangi to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital for medical examination. The Commissioner of Police summoned the police personnel of Saran Police Station and DLF Crime Branch. The Commissioner of Police immediately suspended Sub-Inspector Surendra of Saran police station with immediate effect.
