Faridabad: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that entrepreneurs have an important contribution in the development of the country. He said that all the entrepreneurs should become partners to make Faridabad Industries known in India as well as in the world. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya was addressing the small entrepreneurs and other guests present at the first “National MSME Festival” organized by the All India Forum of MSMEs at the Magpie Complex.
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya was the chief guest at the first AIFOM National MSME Festival today. Addressing the gathering, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that from a craftsman to a start-up in the urban area, smart solutions come from micro, small and medium enterprises. Today, MSME not only includes manufacturing and service industries, but also includes trade. This is the effort of only entrepreneurs like you. This is what fuels our economy. At the same time, your contribution to job creation and as a taxpayer is important.
The Governor said that the life of an entrepreneur is full of challenges. In the midst of these challenges, the restraint, courage, risk and standing in the midst of changing technology is very inspiring. In today’s global economy, a good eco-system is available in our country due to the hard work done by the entrepreneurs. He is respected all over the country. This is the result of that development and innovation have gained momentum. If we talk about statistics, the MSME sector, which provides more than 15 crore jobs with 30 percent share in India’s total GDP and 50 percent share in total exports, has become the need of the hour. At present, more than 7 crore MSME units have got their “Udyam Registration” done, while about the same number of units are still unregistered.
The Governor said that there are more than 1.5 lakh MSME units in the state of Haryana out of which Faridabad district alone has more than 25000 MSME units.
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that in today’s context, institutions like All India Forum of MSMEs have a very important role in the development of MSMEs. AIFOM has been created to provide all kinds of support to MSME units. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya congratulated all the members of AI FOM and said that they are contributing to nation-building by joining this national level institution.
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya extended his heartiest congratulations to the Founder and National President of AIFOM Shyam Sunder Kapoor and National General Secretary Anil Kumar Chaudhary, saying that they have shown a path of development to thousands of entrepreneurs by building this institution. Further, congratulating all the awardees who received awards during this National Festival, he hoped that the entrepreneurs who have not been able to receive awards today will work harder and better to receive this award in the future.
Prof. Jagdish Mukhi said that providing employment to the people through self-employment is an important contribution in the development of the country. Special participation is being ensured in the development of the country by small entrepreneurs. Calling upon the small entrepreneurs, he said that they will continue to be partners in the continuous growth of small industrial units with modern technology in the modern environment. Dr. N.S. Wadhwa, IAS (Retd.), Manilal Chaudhary, General Manager, SIDBI, Rakesh Suraj, Regional Director, EEPC INDIA were present at the National MSME Festival.
