Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has undergone angioplasty. A puddle of blood formed at his feet. Medical experts say that if it is not treated in time, the risk of heart attack increases. However, it is yet to be ascertained which leg the surgery was done on.
According to media reports, the 81-year-old actor was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai at 6 am on Friday. While there has been no confirmation from Amitabh Bachchan or his team yet, sources say the actor’s condition is stable.
Amitabh Bachchan has been quite vocal about his health these days. He had suffered a leg injury recently. At the same time, today it is being reported that he has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. Amitabh Bachchan shared the video on his Twitter account. “Thank you all so much,” the actor wrote on Twitter. Reading Amitabh’s tweet, it is being speculated that the actor might be thanking his well-wishers after the operation.
Amitabh Bachchan recently revealed that his leg has been amputated. At the same time, no information has been given about angioplasty by the actor or the hospital team so far. According to media reports, he went to the hospital for a routine checkup and his condition is said to be stable.
Amitabh Bachchan often gets injured on the sets of films. Earlier, he was injured on the sets of his film ‘Coolie’. He then injured his shoulder while performing an action sequence in the 2018 film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. Since then, the actor is said to be suffering from shoulder pain.
