UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam Cancelled After Paper Leak, Yogi Government’s Big Decision
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the cancellation of the Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2023, which was held on February 17 and 18, and has directed that the examination be conducted again within the next 06 months with complete transparency. The Chief Minister took this decision on Saturday after reviewing the STF investigation and the action taken so far in connection with the said examination.
The Chief Minister said that he cannot accept any compromise with the hard work of the youth and the sanctity of the examination. Strictest action is to be taken against such anarchic elements. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Home Department has also issued an order to cancel the examination.
According to the order issued, based on the examination of the facts and information received regarding the Police Recruitment Examination held on February 17 and 18, 2024, it has been decided to cancel this examination in view of the highest standards of transparency and transparency.
The government has directed the recruitment board to register an FIR against those who have been negligent at any level and ensure further legal action. The government has decided to get the case investigated by the STF and has also directed that strictest action be taken against the persons or institutions found guilty. The government has also directed that the examination be conducted again within six months with complete transparency and that free facilities be provided to the candidates by the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on a social media site that he has ordered the cancellation of the Examination-2023 conducted for selection to the posts of Reserve Civil Police and to conduct the examination again within the next six months. He said that there can be no compromise with the sanctity of examinations. Those who play with the hard work of the youth will not be spared in any case. Strictest action is to be taken against such anarchic elements.
