Singer Kanhaiya Mittal Denies Joining Congress After Viral Video
Web India News
During the Haryana assembly elections, one name suddenly gained attention: Kanhaiya Mittal. A video of the singer, known for his song “Jo Ram ko laaye hain hum unko laayenge,” went viral on social media, sparking speculation that he might join the Congress party.
Mittal clarified his political stance, stating, “I have never joined the BJP. They invited me to sing ‘Jo Ram ko laaye hain,’ and I performed. Yogi Adityanath is my guru and will always be. Just as two sons of the same mother can be in different political parties, a guru and disciple can too.”
However, Mittal posted another video on social media, retracting his earlier statement. He explained, “In the past two days, I realized how much my Sanatan brothers and sisters, as well as the BJP leadership, care for me. I apologize for the confusion caused by my statement about joining Congress. I take it back because I don’t want to break the trust of my community. We belong to Ram, have always belonged to Ram, and will continue to do so. I apologize again for causing any disturbance. Mistakes happen, and I take responsibility for mine. I thank the BJP leadership once again.”
